Dario Fornara takes ARTHUR, TIM and GIULIA Y on Schertler Showroom Tour
Italian guitarist and Schertler Ambassador Dario Fornara recently undertook a tour of Schertler showrooms in northern Italy, presenting workshops featuring Schertler products. Dario shares his experiences, including a couple of tips and tricks enjoyed by visitors to the stores:
"My Schertler showroom tour visited Pordenone, Brescia, Milan and Cuneo for a series of workshops in which I presented Schertler's new ARTHUR modular mixer and the TIM compact PA system. These events also made it possible to focus in detail on some of Schertler's other more established products, such as the MAGNETICO AG-6 magnetic pickup and the GUILIA Y amplifier. The tour included some of the most important music stores in northern Italy (designated as Schertler Showrooms), which kindly made both space and staff available for the events. So, thanks to all our friends at Biasin Musical Instruments, Cavalli Musica, Lucky Music and Fuoritempo for their valuable support and professionalism. As so often happens on these occasions, the attending audiences were quite varied, ranging from the passionate audiophile (who perhaps made a long trip to participate in the event), to the simply curious visitor who was going to the store by chance. This often unexpected (and sometimes accidental) participation can cause the event to become something more dynamic and interactive. But we like that too!"
"Guitarists were by no means forgotten: Although initially more interested in the Magnetico AG-6, many were also surprised at the potential of the new ARTHUR mixer connected to the compact TIM PA, delivering dynamic, transparent results and an incredible "kick". ARTHUR is a high-quality device: The Yellow 'instrument' channel allows you to connect directly without the use of other equipment. The system response speed allows you to play with great dynamics and with 'consistency' under your fingers, making it extremely easy and 'natural' to play your instrument."
"Visitors particularly appreciated being shown some 'tricks' for the live use of the various amplifiers: For example, bringing little GUILIA Y to the limit, setting the equalization and the 'warm' control appropriately, then succeeding (despite its small size and reduced power) to cover a fairly ample space - much to the disbelief and delight of those present. Also, TIM falling below 50 Hz will withstand my permanently inserted 'octaver' and my open tuning, giving a soft, deep sound and never showing signs of failure - even with more vigorous strumming and the volume raised well above the limits of common sense!"
"I hope I can continue this experience with you all by visiting other Schertler specialist showrooms and sharing the passion that we all have for music and for the quality of these fantastic products!
See you next time."
