STAT PRE is specially designed for use with the SCHERTLER STAT series of pickups for bowed stringed instruments. It can also be used with other compatible pickups.

Equipped with a single input and output, plus a volume control, the battery-powered compact Class-A preamp is easy to use and is ideal for live performance situations where stringed instrument amplification is needed. It delivers nearly 500 hours of playing time from one 9V battery, while ensuring a faithful reproduction of the instrument’s sound. STAT PRE’s rugged aluminum enclosure enables it to be positioned on the floor, or attached to the player using a separately available belt clip.

STAT PRE is available as a stand-alone preamp and is also included in all STAT SET pickup packages.
