Schertler winner at DjangoFest Northwest 2017

Djangofest Northwest recently took place at Whidbey Island (WA, USA), bringing an impressive line-up of international musicians to one of North America’s longest established Gypsy Jazz festivals.

The event also provided both visitors and online enthusiasts with an opportunity to take part in a Schertler amp auction, with the highest bid winning. On offer was the GIULIA ultra-compact 50 W amplifier and Schertler-STAT-MACC-Set pickup for Maccaferri-Selmer guitars.

The 2017 auction winner was Trevor Hanson from Seqium, Washington, who was presented with his new amp during the festival’s final show. Proceeds from the auction have gone towards the festival’s operating costs.
